Nielsen-Wurster's first
foray into Dispute Resolution in the 1970s involved
analysis and resolution of the roof casting system, one
of the most innovative of its time, on the now
demolished Kingdome, former
home of the Seahawks and Seattle Mariners in Seattle. In
the early years,
Nielsen-Wurster built its reputation on providing
superior technical analysis
of the problems faced on
large construction projects in the United
States (USA) through which our Dispute Resolution
Division was born.
The 1980s saw Nielsen-Wurster involved as the preeminent
consultant on prudence management auditing of the
engineering, construction and start-up of USA Nuclear
Power Plants.
As the large USA construction programs of the 1980s started
to contract, Nielsen-Wurster stepped into the 1990s with
expansion of our global network to our present position with
permanent offices on four continents.
Nielsen-Wurster is comprised of professionals with a wide
